Designed by the London based studio Andrew Winch design, the Halo project is an Helium Transporter capable of carrying a Superyacht. When an A380, the largest plane in the world can carry 150 tons, the Halo project can carry up to 250 tons.
The project may seems laughable, however a 266ft prototype flied in the US and is approved by the America’s Federal Aviation Administration. Providing it’s owner with a living space over the size of four football pitches and the ability to carry multiple cars, helicopters and toys.
The airship will reach a top speed of 130 mph, for a range of 6000 miles. It will definitely be able to explore the most remote and uncharted area of the planet. Some area of this air born palace are glass floored to enjoy the world beneath you. The outer ring can also be lowered for the passenger to explore the land or sea, creating a private island.
